European binding in tan leather; sewning on five cords; on the spine gilt-tooled decorated panels between the cords; pastedowns and endpapers are marbled and of European production; first bifolio (marked as ii-iii) is in parchment; presence of a blue silk place-maker. On the pastedown of the back cover is the ex libris of "Bruce of Kinnard" and the codex is marked as "No. 53."
