Biographic comments
Ethiopian muḥaddiṯ and scholar of Islamic jurisprudence, founder, in 1983, of the ṣūfī religious movement Al-Aḥbāš, also known as the Association of Islamic Charitable Projects (Ǧamʻiyya al-mašārīʻ al-ḫayriyya al-Islāmiyya). He lived and taught in Beirut.
Possibly related to ʻUmar b. ʻAbd Allāh al-Hararī and Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ b. Saʻīd b. ʻAbd Allāh al-Hararī al-Ṭarṭarī al-Kanbalašī.
