European binding in tan leather; sewing on five cords; on the spine gilt-tooled decorated panels between the cords; pastedowns and their conjugate guard-leaves are in marbled papers of European production; two guard-leaves (I-II) in watermarked paper (Tre Lune and counter marked "FC") show the title of the first work; two bifolios of the same paper is interpolated among the quires and show the titles referred to the following works; titles are written by a later hand (ff. 25-28). The edges of the book block have been trimmed and dyed red. Presence of a blue silk place-maker. On the rear pastedown is the ex libris of "Bruce of Kinnard" and the codex is marked as "No. 40."
