Parts of the poem frequently connected with: الى أن قال; to a large extent corresponding to the selections in Kašf al-ḥiǧāb (Dār al-kutub al-ʻilmiyya 2014, p. 270-273). The end is missing, since there is a catch phrase at the bottom of the page (له همة) not found on the following page. The following verse in Kašf al-ḥiǧāb indeed begins with these words.

قفا فسلا اطلال مية فالفجلا ، حوال الربا ماذا جلا الاعين النجلا قفا بتلال ماسلا عن طلالها ، غريب وسلواها سبى الاب والنجلا عهدنا بها الخلان فى حسن زيهم ، بزينة قوم الرقص اذ احدثوا العجلا فكم سحرت منهم رجالا ونسوة ، تمر بها ركبا وتمشى بها رجلا
