Biographic comments
His nasab was [Finṯīsū ] Finchisō(?). Note that among the Oromo Abbā Dūlā, meaning "the father of war" is also the title of an elected officer who led voluntaty warriors against anemies after the assembly had declared war; he exercised authority only during the war campaigns. With the disintegration of the Gada system the title of Abbā Dūlā became hereditary and the officers were mainly members of the nobility struggling for establishing their own authority. This institution particularly favored the rise of Oromo monarchies in the Gibe region.
