A taqrīẓ for al-Midfaʻ al-Rašāš. It was originally authored by Aḥmad al-Nūr b. al-Ḥāǧǧ Yūsuf and then copied by a scribe called ʻAbd al-Karīm b. ʻAbd al-Raḥmān al-Tiǧānī. The copyist of the present manuscript seems to have copied ʻAbd al-Karīm`s version including the colophon. The photos of JMK170 lacks pages 46 - 47 (should have been folios 27v - 28r). These pages contain the middle section of the taqrīẓ. The full text of the Taqrīẓ can be found in Muḥammad Amīn`s draft of the Midfaʻ al-Rašāš in JMK171, folios 36v - 38r.
